Keep in mind I assume we're talking a floor jack and properly chocked wheels on a solid surface. I don't think the jack can hold the weight of jacking the truck on the chassis, but I think it may be enough to jack up on the arms to lift the tire off the ground. The scissor jack in the pic posted is a death trap!
